About

Registered Massage Therapy

My Goals and what I place emphasis on:

Massage therapy aims to asses, treat and prevent physical dysfunction. I work on the soft tissues (muscles/ fascia/ ligament etc.) and joints to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or to relieve pain.

I use a wide array of techniques, with my training I place large emphasis on the mobility of the body. Any time I treat I treat to the level that the tissue will let me in, this means I will do '“deep tissue” but only when the body is accepting of the depth, my aim is to not create pain during/after treatment (although this does not mean discomfort free). I always discuss pain levels with clients before and during treatment.

My overall aim is to have your body in better balance then when you arrive. I will ask you your goals prior to first treatment.
